"कर्मणयेवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि।"
“You
have a right to perform your prescribed action, but you are not entitled
to the fruits of your action. Never consider yourself the cause of the
results your activities, and never be associated to not doing your duty.”
BHAGVAD
GITA SAYS TO PERFORM YOUR DUTY BUT DON'T DESIRE FOR THE FRUIT OF
ACTION. FOR A HUMAN BEING REWARD FOR A ACTION IS MOTIVE POWER THEN WHY
LORD KRISHNA TELLS US TO ACT WITHOUT CRAVING FOR FRUIT OF ACTION.
WE
MUST UNDERSTAND IN THIS REGARD THAT ALL OUR ACTIONS MUST BEAR FRUIT.
GOD IS BENEFACTOR OF EVERYTHING. HE WILL PROVIDE US APPROPRIATE REWARD
FOR OUR ACTIONS. THEREFORE WHILE PERFORMING OUR DUTY WE SHOULD NOT WORRY
ABOUT FRUIT OF ACTION BUT SHOULD FOCUS ON HOW EFFICIENTLY WE CAN
PERFORM OUR DUTY SO OTHER PERSONS CAN GET MAXIMUM BENEFIT.
THE
PURPOSE OF OUR LIFE IS TO EVOLVE AS A GOOD HUMAN BEING, TO GROW MORALLY
AND SPIRITUALLY. THE TEACHING OF BHAGAVAD GITA HELPS US IN THIS WAY. IF
WE ACT LEAVING THE OUTCOME OF OUR ACTION TO THE WILL OF GOD WE CAN BE
MORE FOCUSED ABOUT OUR ACTION. WE CAN TAKE DECISION WHICH ARE GOOD FOR
PROPER DISCHARGE OF OUR DUTY WITHOUT ANY HESITATION.
WHEN
WE DON'T FOLLOW THE TEACHING OF GITA THEN BEFORE DOING ANYTHING THE
FIRST THING WHICH CROSS OUR MIND IS HOW I AM GOING TO BE BENEFITED BY
DOING THIS ACTION NOT HOW I WILL DO IT EFFICIENTLY.
WE
TALK ABOUT THE EVIL OF CORRUPTION PREVAILED IN SOCIETY. BUT DO WE EVER
CONSIDER ABOUT THE CAUSE OF THIS DISEASE OF CORRUPTION. THE MAIN CAUSE
OF CORRUPTION IS OUR GREED. OUR SELF CENTERED ATTITUDE TO GET MAXIMUM
BENEFIT FROM OUR ACTION.
A
CONTRACTOR WHO GETS THE CONTRACT OF ROAD MAKING THINKS HOW MUCH MORE
PROFIT I CAN MAKE FROM THIS WORK SO HE USES INFERIOR MATERIAL. THE
OFFICIAL WHO HAS TO ALLOT CONTRACT, GIVES IT TO ONE WHO PROVIDES HIM
PERSONAL ADVANTAGE NOT TO THE MOST ELIGIBLE PERSON. IN THIS WAY ROAD
WHICH IS CONSTRUCTED WILL BE RUPTURED SOON.
THEREFORE WE MUST WORK ACCORDING TO GITA'S TEACHING ONLY FOR THE SAKE OF ACTION LEAVING THE OUTCOME OF OUR ACTION ON GOD.
